The Ambassador Playa Hotel is a large property, housed in two staggered blocks, which form a V-shape. There are 410 comfortable guestrooms all fully equipped and well decorated. Guests have their choice of two pools: a freeform pool surrounded by loungers and attractive tropical plants and palms, and a larger, rectangular pool with a retractable plastic roof and glass sides, ideal in winter. For more active guests, there is a fitness centre, which is separately owned but can be used for a small fee. Meals are taken in the spacious restaurant and are in the Continental buffet style with plenty of choice. A range of entertainment is also on offer, including cabaret and live music.
