The hotel is located just a few steps from the beach, near the little port and close to the historic old town. Although in the centre of Benidorm, it is situated in the quieter part of the town, yet minutes away from the colourful main shopping area, as well as restaurants and continental style cafés.

The Mar Blau Hotel is a friendly, family-run property. Most of the 53 guestrooms have a balcony and many have superb views out over the beach and sea. All are pleasantly decorated in an understated style, their plain walls contrasting with beige-toned bed linen and curtains. The restaurant meals are buffet style, featuring freshly made Continental food that will please all palates. Guests can also enjoy the intimate atmosphere of the hotel bar, with its entertainment programme featuring games, competitions, dancing to live music and occasional live shows.
